1. On the Beach

"I love the beach," says Curly. "It is so quiet."

"It's a good place for sleeping," Boysie says. "Let's have a little sleep."

Curly closes her eyes and is nearly asleep when she hears someone calling. "Who was that!" she asks.

"I didn't hear anyone," says Boysie in a sleepy voice.

"I thought I heard someone calling," Curly tells him.

"Go back to sleep, Curly. There's no-one else here."

No sooner has she closed her eyes than she hears the voice again. "Hey! You!"

"Boysie, I did hear something," says Curly.

Boysie says nothing. He is fast asleep.
Curly goes to see if she can find the owner of the voice.
